[pgeu-general] Partners/Sponsors for European PGDay needed

Hi there,

as you know, the European PostgreSQL Day organisation is going on
smoothly.

As we have repeatedly said, our main goal is to do wide scale
advocacy for PostgreSQL, by keeping the event free and open to everyone.
It's not an easy task, as you may imagine.

However, in order to be able to make it better than last year's
Italian PGDay, we need the support from some of the European companies
that use PostgreSQL.

We have prepared an outstanding advertising campaign
(http://www.pgday.org/en/sponsors/campaign) and I encourage every
company that is sensitive to PostgreSQL to join it. There are several
options depending on budget availability, and there are some special and
limited options (such as the conference bags, or badges, ...).

Even if you intend to buy some merchandising stuff for PostgreSQL on
your own, I suggest that you let ITPUG and PG Europe do it for you, by
supporting PGDay. Indeed, we have the option to buy stuff for the "long
run" (not just PGDay, but even future events), we may save more money by
exploiting large scale economies and reinvest that money in advocacy.

Also, partnerships are tax deductable in Europe.

If you are interested or require more information, please write
privately to info@itpug.org.

Thanks,
Gabriele
